Alabama football signed four linebackers in its 2021 recruiting class.

We highlight one in this piece to represent 36 days away from the Crimson Tide’s season. Ian Jackson, a former four-star, hails from Prattville, Ala. He redshirted his freshman season and played three games in 2022. Jackson worked on special teams as a redshirt freshman, but he came in as a talented linebacker. The 6-foot-1, 235-pounder enters his third year in the program, but can Jackson break through and earn playing time? Alabama is stacked at inside and outside linebacker with playmakers.

We will see how Jackson fits into the rotation with the first practice on Saturday, Aug. 5.
