Alabama football held its first practice of fall camp Thursday.

We are now 30 days from the Crimson Tide’s season and home opener against Middle Tennessee State.

As a five-star in the 2022 signing class, Campbell is in an intense inside linebacker competition with Deontae Lawson. After practice, Nick Saban said Campbell has made “a lot of progress” at the position. He looks to become the starter at weak side “Will” linebacker next to Lawson. The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder played nine games last season and recorded one tackle. Campbell brings marquee athleticism as a New Jersey native, and fans are looking forward to seeing what he becomes for Alabama.
