Watch: Kevin Steele talks “do your job” mentality at Alabama’s media day

Alabama football had Kevin Steele take the podium Sunday as defensive coordinator at media day.

He returns as a defensive coach for his third stint with the Crimson Tide. Steele was surprised to get the call to work with Nick Saban again, but he is blessed for the opportunity. The 65-year-old is excited to get this defense up to par, and it starts with the “do your job” mentality. Steele explained to reporters the significance of having this mentality.

He is about cleaning up penalties, executing with discipline, and playing relentless football.
