No one has separate in the quarterback room for Alabama, and Nick Saban is fine with letting the cake bake some more.

He returned to the podium Sunday morning after Fan Day/Open Practice to address the media. Saban highlighted the competition, but he’s told the quarterbacks that ‘fall camp is not the beginning of the end.’
“You have an opportunity to show you can separate yourself and play with consistency,” Saban said. “That competition goes on and on and on, and we need all the quarterback to continue to improve. We need all the quarterbacks to continue to compete, even far beyond after we name a starter.”

Saban wants the entire quarterback room to be good. Alabama will have its fourth practice of fall camp on Monday.
