Arnold was asked about Isaiah Bond and Malik Benson during the Crimson Tide’s player media availability on Wednesday. Bond and Benson have both received high praise in the past because of their speed and explosiveness. A reporter asked Arnold about the challenge of going up against Bond and Benson at practice day in and day out.
“All I can say is speed kills,” Arnold said. “It’s just speed, speed, speed. Those guys…they make us better. They really really push us.”
Bond finished his freshman season at Alabama with 220 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown on 17 receptions. He started one game last season. Benson lit up the JUCO scene by hauling in 10 receiving touchdowns and earning 977 receiving yards.
