The Associated Press released its preseason top 25 poll Monday, and the Georgia Bulldogs came in at No. 1.
The Bulldogs were followed by Michigan at No. 2, Ohio State at No. 3, Alabama at No. 4 and LSU at No. 5.
USC, Penn State, Florida State, Clemson and Washington rounded out the top 10.
The Crimson Tide will kick off the season at home against Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 2.
