Nick Saban provided his evaluations of Alabama’s quarterbacks Saturday after the Crimson Tide’s second scrimmage of fall camp.
Alabama has not named a starting quarterback for the upcoming season. Jalen Milroe, Ty Simpson and Tyler Buchner are the three signal callers many people consider the favorite to win the job. Saban kept things close to the vest when evaluating Alabama’s quarterbacks after the final scrimmage.
“They all took snaps,” Saban said. “They all completed some passes. They all made some throws that weren’t as good as they should have been, and they all got sacked. That’s what I saw.”
Preparation for Alabama’s first game of the season against Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 2 is right around the corner. History points to Alabama not naming a starter until close to the game’s date and time.
