Anderson gave Texans’ fans a taste of dominance in his preseason matchup against the Miami Dolphins. He recorded two tackles, but his most significant play was when he overpowered a running back, knocked the quarterback down for a sack, and stripped the ball. Miami recovered the fumble; however, the world saw Anderson’s speed, power, and tenacity to attack the ball. He showed it during three seasons in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Anderson was a two-time Unanimous First-Team All-American selection.
He has drawn attention from Pro Football League as the highest-graded rookie in the preseason.
Anderson grades out at 92.4 in 20 snaps (minimum) and in week two of action, he carried a 93.9.
