Five players have new numbers for Alabama football this season

Eight days separate us from Alabama football.

The Crimson Tide is finalizing its roster, and fans must learn some players by their new number.

Five student-athletes for Alabama will have a new number.

Nick Saban and the Tide opens its season next weekend against Middle Tennessee State at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Two offensive players have a different number, including a true freshman, and three defensive players have a new number.

Alabama fans can go to rolltide.com to see the updated roster, but the players with new numbers are below.

Alabama players with new numbers

-DB Kristian Story: No. 4 (previously wore No. 11)

-DB Jaylen Key: No. 6 (previously wore No. 22)

-WR Kobe Prentice: No. 6 (previously wore No. 80)

-CB Trey Amos: No. 9 (previously wore No. 23)

-WR Jalen Hale: No. 14 (previously wore No. 82)
