Jay Lindsey announced his de-commitment from the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Lindsey is a product of Patrician Academy in Butler, Alabama, and he is a 2024 recruit. He is considered a top target for the Crimson Tide.
The senior is listed at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds. He is disruptive as an edge rusher on defense, and he is an all-around tight end on offense. Patrician Academy’s offense allows Lindsey to show off his versatile skillset.
Lindsey is a physical and dominant blocker as a tight end. He also possesses a nice vertical, which allows him to go up and pull down contested catches. His strong frame makes him tough to bring down after the catch.
