A former Alabama cornerback has made a 53-man roster for a National Football League team.

Eli Ricks, a former five-star, went undrafted in April. He received an opportunity from the Philadelphia Eagles and excelled during the preseason. Ricks, a California native, put his best performances on the field — including a pick-six against the Baltimore Ravens. He had four pass breakups, and quarterbacks totaled a 39.1 passer rating when targeting him.

Philadelphia loves what it has in Ricks, and he has found a home in the league.
