Alabama football has its starting quarterback for Saturday against Middle Tennessee State.

According to ESPN’s Chris Low, citing sources, Jalen Milroe will get the starting nod at Bryant-Denny Stadium versus the Blue Raiders at 6:30 p.m. CT via SEC Network. Milroe, a redshirt sophomore, competed against Ty Simpson, Tyler Buchner, and Dylan Lonergan (true freshman) for the starting job. The native Texan played against Arkansas and started versus Texas A&M in 2022.
