Breaking: Jalen Milroe to start at quarterback for Alabama against MTSU

Alabama football has its starting quarterback for Saturday against Middle Tennessee State.

According to ESPN’s Chris Low, citing sources, Jalen Milroe will get the starting nod at Bryant-Denny Stadium versus the Blue Raiders at 6:30 p.m. CT via SEC Network. Milroe, a redshirt sophomore, competed against Ty Simpson, Tyler Buchner, and Dylan Lonergan (true freshman) for the starting job. The native Texan played against Arkansas and started versus Texas A&M in 2022.

Nick Saban stated how Milroe has improved as an overall quarterback. We will get our first look at him against MTSU.
