He makes the start at quarterback for the University of Alabama against Middle Tennessee State.

The redshirt sophomore has an opportunity to put on a show and prove he is the guy for the job. Milroe performed well in summer workouts and preseason camp. Nick Saban was pleased with his growth as a passer, but now he wants to see it in action from the native Texan. Milroe shared a precious pregame moment with his mother, giving her a special handshake before the bus ride to the stadium. Crimson Tide fans are looking forward to the accuracy, athleticism, and marquee decision-making from him.
