After his breakthrough performance against Middle Tennessee, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe was named a Co-SEC Player of the Week.
During the Crimson Tide’s 56-7 win over the Blue Raiders, Milroe completed 13-of-18 passes for 194 yards and three passing touchdowns with a 217.8 quarterback rating. He connected on pass of 47, 48 and 29 yards throughout the game.

Milroe also got things done on the ground as he rushed for 48 yards on seven attempts and two touchdowns with an average of 6.9 yards per carry.
The redshirt sophomore certainly made his case to be the team’s starting quarterback going forward and he will have his next big test when Alabama takes on Texas this weekend.
