Where Alabama ranks in the polls ahead of Texas matchup

Following its 56-7 win over Middle Tennessee last Saturday, Alabama saw itself rise in one of the national polls on Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide shifted up one spot to No. 3 in the AP Top 25 with Michigan and Georgia finishing ahead and Florida State rounding out the top four.

Coming into the season Alabama was already slotted at No. 3 in the USA Today US LBM Coaches Poll and it did not see any change following the win over the Blue Raiders. Both Michigan and Georgia were also ranked ahead of Alabama according to the coaches.

The SEC was also represented by No. 9 Tennessee, No. 14 LSU, No. 20 Ole Miss and No. 23 Texas A&M in both polls.

Alabama will now turn its attention to Texas this Saturday inside Bryant-Denny Stadium
