George Teague disappointed with Alabama’s lack of pride versus Texas

No one likes to lose a football game, especially not by double-digits at home.

Alabama fans left Bryant-Denny Stadium very upset after a 24-34 loss to Texas.

The Crimson Tide lost a matchup early in the season under Nick Saban for the first time since 2015. Alabama made numerous mental mistakes, could not affect Texas’ passing game, and Steve Sarkisian made the Tide pay. After the contest, several players for the Longhorns ran to midfield on the scripted “A” logo. Texas players posed, celebrated, and took pictures standing on the logo, while Alabama players went to the locker room. George Teague, a former Tide safety, did not like the lack of pride from Alabama.

Teague, a passionate player in college and the NFL, shoved Terrell Owens off the star for the Dallas Cowboys.

He took ownership of making the opposition respect his team’s logo. Teague did not feel that this Alabama team was showing the same passion for the scripted “A.” Hopefully, the Tide will bounce back next week against South Florida.
