Nick Saban was asked did he considered making a change at quarterback when Jalen Milroe struggled against Texas on Saturday night.
Milroe finished the game with 255 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, but he threw two costly interceptions in the Alabama loss. Saban revealed he did think about playing multiple quarterbacks during his post-game press conference when he was asked about Milroe’s performance.
“I did, but when he put the drive together to go down the field and score, when we got ahead, I thought that gave him a lot of confidence,” Saban said. “But we never ever discussed it. I can’t sit here and say the thought doesn’t come to mind for any player who is having a difficult time. But he made some good plays at the end of the game, and that was good to see.”
