Despite going unsigned through Week 1 of the season, former Alabama linebacker Rashaan Evans will be back on in the NFL.
The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Tuesday that they had signed Evans to its practice squad.

Evans’ signing comes after Eagles starting linebacker Nakobe Dean suffered a foot injury during the team’s win over the New England Patriots last week. Dean was placed on injured reserve and will miss the next four weeks.
Last season Evans played for the Atlanta Falcons where he recorded 159 total tackles, two sacks, six tackles for loss, four pass deflections, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
He first entered the league back in 2018 as a first-round selection by the Tennessee Titans and he will now begin his sixth year in the league with the Eagles.
