Watch: Can this Alabama team play up to program’s standard?

Nick Saban’s standard does not come from external factors, but can this Alabama team play up to the standard?

The standard Saban implemented in 2007 was relentless competitiveness, effort, commitment, toughness, excellence, physicality, and making opponents quit. Alabama has not played to its standard in the last two seasons. The Crimson Tide lost to Georgia in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Game (2021 season) and missed the CFP last season.

Several former Alabama players got upset after the Tide’s loss to Texas. Some feel as if the run of championships for Alabama is truly over. The players see there is more football left in the season, and all the goals are still attainable.
