USF head football coach, Alex Golesh is not buying into the underdog hype heading into the Bulls’ game against Alabama this weekend.
Golesh was the offensive coordinator for Tennessee last year, and he helped the Vols defeat the Crimson Tide in Knoxville.
The new USF coach is hopeful his team can execute and be the best team they can be in this weekend’s matchup.
“I’m not a fan of all the David and Goliath stuff,” Golesh said. “The one thing that we keep talking about is being the best version of us, which is to play really hard, play really smart and execute at a high clip on all three sides of the ball. If we do all of that, we’ll earn the right to win a football game on Saturday.”
Alabama and USF will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
