Trevon Diggs, a University of Alabama alumnus, is one of the best cornerbacks in the National Football League.

The two-time Pro Bowl selection and first-team All-Pro sustained a torn anterior crucial ligament to his knee. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the news as the NFL’s best defense loses a leader. Diggs, a former second-round pick, has 18 career interceptions — including a league-high 11 in 2021. He also has 52 career pass breakups in his time with the Cowboys.
Diggs sent a heartfelt message to Cowboys fans on social media.
