Jalen Milroe has not had his best outing against Ole Miss, but he turned in a crucial play when Alabama’s offense needed it.
The redshirt sophomore quarterback found true freshman receiver Jalen Hale for a 30-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Milroe hung in the pocket, took a shot, and gave Hale a chance to make a play. Hale soared in the air, snatched the football, and gave the Crimson Tide a 17-7 lead. Mississippi cut the lead to 17-10 with a field goal, but Alabama now has life in the second half.
