Alabama head coach Nick Saban provided an injury update on linebacker Deontae Lawson.

Lawson exited the game early on in the first half and was helped off the field by the training staff and did not return.

Saban shared that Lawson suffered a sprained ankle and the severity is currently unknown. He will be listed as day-to-day this upcoming week.

“He’s got a sprained ankle,” Saban said. “He’s gonna be day-to-day. It’s a pretty good one, so nobody knows exactly how long it will take for him to respond. So that’s all I can tell you about that one.”

Alabama also saw injuries to offensive linemen Darrian Dalcourt and Terence Ferguson but no update was provided following the game. Dalcourt was able to return to action.
