Alabama football needed a victory over one Mississippi school to start its conference schedule right.

Now, it faces another Mississippi school to continue its journey to play for a Southeastern Conference Championship and position itself for the College Football Playoff. Nick Saban leads the Crimson Tide into Saturday’s matchup against Mississippi State at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Miss. Bulldog fans continue to mourn the passing of Mike Leach, but Zach Arnett has the program with a 2-2 record this season. Mississippi State has been a tough opponent for Alabama in the Saban era.
