Two key Alabama players unable to practice, questionable for Miss State

Alabama took to the practice field on Wednesday without the likes of starting linebacker Deontae Lawson and reserve offensive lineman Terrence Ferguson.

Lawson (ankle) and Ferguson were both injured during the Crimson Tide’s 24-10 win over Ole Miss last Saturday. Both players exited the game against the Rebels in the first half and were unable to return.

With neither being able to go today, Saban listed the pair as “very questionable” for Alabama’s upcoming game against Mississippi State on Saturday.

If Lawson is not ready to go, Jihaad Campbell and Kendrick Blackshire would be the two to be called upon to step up. Campbell was the primary backup behind Lawson against Ole Miss while Blackshire rotated in.
