Jaylen Mbakwe led Clay-Chalkville to a big upset win over 7A powerhouse Thompson with a five-touchdown performance.
Mbakwe is the starting quarterback for the Cougars. He finished the game with 100 passing yards, 168 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
The Alabama pledge’s first three rushing touchdowns came on quarterback sneaks.

Mbakwe came up big in the fourth when he ran in his third touchdown to give Clay-Chalkville the lead late in the game.
