Alabama football has a 31-10 lead on Mississippi State at halftime, but a former Crimson Tide player wants clarification on who is calling them defense.
Joshua McMillon, a former three-time national champion, is questioning whether Kevin Steele or Travaris Robinson is calling the defense. Steele is under the defensive coordinator tag, and Robinson is the secondary coach. Robinson has experience as a defensive coordinator, but he’s not calling the plays.
All the defensive staff bounces ideas off each other, but Steele is in the office of coordinator. Alabama held Ole Miss to 10 points last week, and the Bulldogs have 10 points right now.
