ESPN College Gameday host Desmond Howard believes no SEC team should be included in the College Football Playoff at the moment.

Howard feels Washington has a better case to be in the playoff over Alabama and Georgia early in the season. The Bulldogs and Washington are both undefeated. Georgia is ranked No. 1 in the country, and the Huskies are ranked No. 7.
“If I had a chance to pick my four Playoff teams again, I don’t think I would pick an SEC team,” Howard said. “I think I would put Washington over either Alabama or Georgia, because Washington right now, they’re playing to a standard. They don’t care who their opponent is. They’re going out there, kicking ass and taking names.”
Alabama will have a shot at changing Howard’s opinion against Mississippi State on Saturday night.
