Jalen Hurts is the lone former Alabama quarterback leading an undefeated team in the National Football League.
He turned in his best regular season performance to this point against the Washington Commanders.

Hurts guided the Philadelphia Eagles to a 34-31 overtime victory on Sunday at home. He recorded a season-high 319 passing yards on completing 25 of 37 passes with two touchdown passes. Hurts made several marquee throws in the win, including many to wide receiver A.J. Brown. The former second-round pick tossed nine passes to Brown for 175 yards and two scores.

Hurts and DeVonta Smith, another former Crimson Tide standout, connected seven times for 78 yards.
Hurts has the Eagles atop the NFC East at 4-0, including two victories at home. He has eight total scores on the season, but it has been remarkable to watch Hurts’ continued growth as a passer.
