Jonah Williams reported an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide last week, adding to his impressive offer list.
Williams is a 2025 five-star defensive back out of Ball High School in Galveston, Texas. He holds 26 offers, including offers from Texas, USC, Ohio State and others.
The junior was ‘blessed’ with the news of his offer after a recent workout.
“The Alabama program is insane, so getting a scholarship offer is kind of crazy,” Williams told Touchdown Alabama.
Nick Saban is a head coach Williams has a lot of respect for. The five-star gave high praise to the Alabama head coach.
“My thoughts are through the roof with coach Saban,” Williams said.
At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Williams is an explosive athlete, who can make plays on offense and as a returner. He flashes physicality when he is called upon to make plays close to the line of scrimmage. His size combined with his athleticism allows him to show great potential in coverage.
“I think I come down very well to make tackles at the line of scrimmage, and I think my coverage is also pretty good,” said Williams.
