The New Orleans Saints placed former Alabama linebacker Terrell Lewis on waivers according to a report from the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero on Monday.

Lewis had been a member of the Saints’ practice squad for the previous three weeks.
Originally selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams where he played three seasons, Lewis also had a brief stint with the Chicago Bears before being released in the preseason.
Lewis would later sign with the Saints on Sept. 13.
In his career, Lewis has appeared in 30 games with seven startings totaling 40 tackles, six sacks, eight tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, three pass deflections, one interception and one forced fumble.
