Arkansas’ head football coach Sam Pittman provided his early thoughts on the Alabama Crimson Tide during his Monday press conference.
The Razorbacks, who are 2-4 on the season, are set to go against Alabama on Saturday in a SEC matchup. Pittman said he feels this year’s Tide squad is impressive from top to bottom.
“We’re really excited to go to Alabama,” said Pittman. “They’ve got a great team, very physical, big. Milroe is playing very good. Their defense is playing exceptional. They’ve got a huge offensive line. Burton is the real deal out at wide receiver. Running back wise with McClellan and Williams are really good runners. Bond is an exceptional wide receiver. They’re Alabama, really well right now. Physical football team, but we’re excited to go over there and play the game.”
Alabama is coming off of a road win against the Texas A&M Aggies. The Tide escaped College Station with a 26-20 win after coming back from being down at halftime.
