ESPN college football analyst, Kirk Herbstreit believes it is very possible two SEC teams will be in the College Football Playoff.
The SEC has sent multiple teams to the CFP two times in the playoff era. Alabama and Georgia found themselves in the National Championship game in both of those situations. Herbstreit feels it is possible the two programs can be in playoff together again this year.
“Alabama is going to figure things out,” Herbstreit said Tuesday on ESPN. “Alabama is going to run the table. Georgia is going to run the table. Alabama if they beat Georgia, they are both going to the playoff. That is just going to happen if both those teams win out and win in Atlanta.”
The analyst picked Alabama to have a bounce-back year and make a run at winning the National Championship before the season started.
