The Crimson Tide earned a 26-20 victory, but Moore was helped off the field.
He has not practiced much this week, but Moore did get work in on Wednesday. Nick Saban said Moore is a ‘game-time decision’ at the SEC Coaches Teleconference. If the Tide chooses to rest him, keep your eyes on the redshirt freshman, Earl Little II.
He is Moore’s backup at ‘Star’ in Alabama’s nickel defense. Little, a former four-star from South Florida, recorded an interception off quarterback Ty Simpson in the Tide’s spring game. He continues to grow in the program as a player with immense potential.
The 6-foot-1, 186-pounder has the instincts, coverage skills, and ball skills to be impactful for this homecoming matchup at Bryant-Denny Stadium against the Razorbacks. Moore is a competitive player, but Little may have his moment if Moore sits out.
