ESPN has the call on the broadcast. A true freshman wide receiver for the Crimson Tide has a new number. According to Charlie Potter of On3 Sports, Jaren Hamilton has switched from No. 16 to No. 23. Hamilton, a native of Gainesville, Fla., came to Alabama as a four-star in the 2023 class. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder was one of the top prospects from Florida with huge speed.

Hamilton has not recorded a reception this season. He saw action against Middle Tennessee State to open the season.
