Jalen Milroe has a number one and two option at wide receiver for Alabama football.
The sophomore quarterback has confidence in Jermaine Burton and Isaiah Bond. He would like to have a No. 3 target to distribute passes to, and two players pushed for the opportunity against Arkansas. Kobe Prentice and Amari Niblack made plays versus the Razorbacks at Bryant-Denny Stadium for homecoming. Prentice, a sophomore wide receiver, was one of several receivers the Crimson Tide signed in its 2022 recruiting class. The elite speedster from Calera (Ala.) High School had a good freshman season and resurfaced against the Hogs. He started the game with a 79-yard touchdown catch from Milroe.

The play from Milroe to Prentice resembled the 87-yard touchdown passes from Blake Sims to Kenyan Drake versus Florida in 2014 at BDS. Prentice averaged 46.5 yards per catch and totaled 93 yards on two receptions. Alabama fans want the former four-star more involved in the offensive game planning. He has game-changing speed, competitiveness, routes, and hands.
Niblack, a sophomore tight end, caught his third touchdown of the season. He had two catches for 43 yards, including a 29-yard score from Milroe. Niblack is the third-leading receiver for Alabama with 11 receptions for 213 yards and three scores.
The Tide needs to get him more involved because he is a matchup nightmare for defenses. Milroe believes in Burton and Bond, but Niblack and Prentice have something to offer. Tommy Rees needs to enhance his game plan with Prentice and Niblack more.
