After starting the season 0-6, the Carolina Panthers are making a major move offensively.
It was reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero that Panthers head coach Frank Reich will no longer be calling the offensive plays as the duties will be handed over to offensive coordinator Thomas Brown.
#Panthers coach Frank Reich informed players today he has decided to hand over play-calling duties to OC Thomas Brown, sources tell me, @MikeGarafolo and @RapSheet.
Brown, 37, is highly regarded. Now, with Carolina 0-6, he’ll call the shots for No. 1 pick Bryce Young. pic.twitter.com/vNjFyfRKor

The move comes after the Panthers’ offensive struggles continued on Sunday during its blowout loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins.
First-overall pick Bryce Young has also had his ups and downs throughout his rookie campaign as the team tries to muster any sort of momentum to try and get into the win column. In five starts, Young has thrown for 967 yards, six touchdowns, four interceptions and has completed 63.2% of his passes.
