After a short stint in the AFC North, former Alabama running back Kenyan Drake is back on the market.
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Baltimore Ravens released Drake from its practice squad on Tuesday after appearing in two games for the team.
A few Tuesday transactions:
– The Ravens released RB Kenyan Drake from their PS
– the Cardinals officially waived 2022 3rd round pick Myjai Sanders

Drake, who spent a majority of the 2022 season with the Ravens, signed back with the franchise earlier in the year when starting running back J.K. Dobbins was lost for the season. But now that the running back depth is replenished on the active roster, Drake’s services are no longer needed.
Originally a third-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 2016 NFL Draft, Drake has played eight years in the NFL with stints with the Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders and the Ravens. Throughout his career Drake has amassed 868 carries for 3,866 rushing yards, 33 rushing touchdowns, 218 receptions, 1,655 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns.
