Alabama head coach Nick Saban gave a few injury updates on defensive back Malachi Moore and CJ Dippre during his Wednesday press conference.
Saban shared that both players have been able to practice and may be able to suit up against Tennessee if they continue to progress.
“Both guys have practiced, so I think if they continue to progress like they have, they’ve got a good chance to play,” Saban said. “But nobody can predict that right now.”
Dippre left last week’s game against Arkansas as he was assisted off the field by the training staff and would not return to the game.
Moore suffered a sprained ankle during the first half of the Texas A&M game but despite warming up against the Razorbacks last week, he was held out by the coaches.
Alabama starting linebacker Trezmen Marshall had also left last Saturday’s game but gave a positive update on Tuesday.
“I am feeling great,” Marshall said. “Just getting treatment. Trying to heal up and get ready for this big game.”
Alabama will kick off against Tennessee on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. inside Bryant-Denny Stadium with CBS on the call.
