After being held out of last week’s game, Alabama defensive back Malachi Moore will be taking the field today as he’s expected to return to action vs. Tennessee. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Chris Low.
Malachi Moore, one of @AlabamaFTBL’s most experienced and versatile DBs, is set to return to the lineup Saturday against Tennessee barring a setback in warmups. Moore hasn’t played since the first half of the Texas A&M game two weeks ago after suffering a high ankle sprain.

Moore suffered an ankle sprain during the Crimson Tide’s matchup against Texas A&M in the first half which caused him to miss time.
The final evaluation will still be made during warmups but the team is optimistic it’ll be getting back its senior leader in the secondary.
Prior to missing time, Moore had recorded 27 tackles, four tackles for loss and one interception in five games for Alabama this season.
