After getting off to a hot start, Tennessee couldn’t close the deal against Alabama on Saturday. Following a 20-point scoring burst in the first half the Volunteers got outscored 27-0 in the second half.
The play of Josh Heupel’s group wasn’t up to par but the head coach may have also believed the officiating was either.
When asked if he believed the officials were a bit one-sided throughout the game, Heupel held a long pause before letting out a frustrated “yeah” to the media.

Tennessee was penalized eight times on the day with Alabama recording just one which could be where Heupel’s frustration lies.
