Alabama fans joke about Terry Saban needing a statue next to her husband outside Bryant-Denny Stadium, but this season indicates she deserves one. She lit the passion back into Coach Saban to be fiery about the game against Mississippi State, and it has fueled him to have the Crimson Tide in the driver’s seat to win the SEC West. Saban and her daughter, Kristen Saban Setas, passionately sang “Dixieland Delight” in the Crimson Tide’s victory over Tennesee. Both watched Saban coach the team to its seventh victory of the season in a 34-20 victory over the Volunteers. Alabama starts a new winning streak on Tennessee after suffering a loss in 2022. Miss Terry enjoyed seeing her team shut out the Vols’ offense in the second half of the matchup.

She deserves a statue for what she has meant to the program, especially if the Tide wins a national championship.
