Beaman has been committed to the Tide since May and is one of Alabama’s top overall 2024 commits. Despite being committed to the Tide, that has not slowed down the pursuit of in-state rival Auburn. Beaman has taken visits to both Alabama and Auburn this fall.
Coach Hugh Freeze and the Auburn staff are doing all they can in order to flip Beaman.
“They say they want me and they need me, and they need a defensive end at my size and my caliber to come in and play,” Beaman said.

Auburn believes Beaman can come in and make an impact as a freshman, and they continue to try and sell him on that. Beaman plans to get back to the Plains for a visit at some point this season. Regarding his commitment to the Tide, Beaman stated that it was relationships that made him commit to Alabama.
“The relationships and the people down there,” Beaman said when discussing why he committed to the Tide. “The bonds that I built with everyone down there are really strong,”
Beaman also has a great relationship with Birmingham-area recruiter and the Crimson Tide’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach, who has no doubt played a huge role in his recruitment. The four-star has high praise for Roach.
“Coach Roach is amazing,” said Beaman. “He’s funny. He knows what he is talking about. He may joke around, but when it’s time to get down to business, he definitely does that. That’s what I like about him. He stands out a lot.”
Beaman was in Tuscaloosa last weekend for the Tide’s win over Tennessee.
