Alabama football’s linebacker, Jihaad Campbell was named the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday after his performance against Tennessee.
Campbell had a total of 10 tackles, and a touchdown off a fumble he recovered and took 24 yards to seal the win for Alabama. The Crimson Tide beat Tennessee 30-20 to improve to 7-1. Campbell has 39 total tackles this season and two sacks.
The Sophomore and IMG Academy product is establishing himself as a valuable asset to Alabama’s offense as he continues to improve each week.
