Has Alabama football become fun to watch this season at the right time?
It has not been perfect, but the Crimson Tide has looked better since its loss to Texas. The offense is finding an identity, and the defense has played to the intensity of Kevin Steele. Alabama returned to the winning side of the “Third Saturday in October” rivalry, gaining a 34-20 victory over Tennessee last week. The first half was not good, but Nick Saban had a message at halftime, and a different team came out of the locker room. Alabama blanked the Volunteers while it scored 27 points in the second half.

The Tide remains in control of its destiny in the Southeastern Conference, and a CBS College Football analyst sees Alabama as fun to watch as a matchup against LSU looms for next week. The Tigers defeated Alabama in Death Valley last year for its second loss.
“I didn’t know you could smoke in church… and by the way, it looked like a Bob Marley concert at the end of that deal.” 😂

“I did not know you could smoke in church,” Rick Neuheisel said hilariously.
“But you can. And by the way, it looked like a Bob Marley concert at the end of that deal. I’m telling you, it was off the charts. Listen, a lot of those parishioners are going to have to atone because you were nonbelievers at halftime. It looked bad. Tennessee played beautifully in the first half and was ahead 20-7, but whatever Reverend Saban said at halftime … it worked beautifully. That was a spirited effort and Alabama is in control of its destiny. It is fun to watch.”
It needs to put a complete game under its belt, but Alabama is trending in the right direction.
The Tide will get players healthy this week for next Saturday’s (Nov. 4) matchup against LSU.
