He has a different skill set than Jalen Milroe, Tua Tagovailoa, Mac Jones, and Bryce Young, but Jalen Milroe has the University of Alabama football team in position to win a Southeastern Conference Championship.

Milroe, a redshirt sophomore, has answered critics with big plays in the passing game. He recorded career-highs for completions (21) and passing yards (321) with three touchdowns in Alabama’s victory over Texas A&M. The Crimson Tide earned a 30-24 victory over Tennessee last week. Milroe tossed a pair of touchdown passes, including a 46-yard strike to receiver Isaiah Bond.
A former four-star, Milroe has 18 total touchdowns in eight games — including 13 passing scores.
According to a graphic from Pro Football Focus, Milroe has shown to be the best deep ball passer in the nation. He’s tossed 10 touchdown passes to one interception on throws of 20+ yards. Milroe has a passer rating of 131.8 and a 98.7 passing grade.

He continues to fine-tune his accuracy on short to intermediate routes, but Milroe is the king of deep balls right now.
