No. 1 sophomore lineman Lamar Brown pumped to visit Alabama for LSU game

Lamar Brown has made plans to visit the Alabama Crimson Tide next week when they take on the LSU Tigers

Brown attends University Lab School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Not only is the Louisiana product one of the nation’s top 2026 offensive lineman prospects, but he is also a top defensive lineman recruit. He holds 14 D1 offers, including offers from Alabama, Florida State and Georgia.

The Crimson Tide offered Brown in August. It was a significant offer for the sophomore as he has high praise for Alabama football.

“Alabama is where you go if you want to be coached by the great Nick Saban, and I think they are the standard of college football in my opinion,” Brown said.

Brown will be making his first trip to Alabama since earning an offer from the Tide next week when he watches them take on LSU, and he expects the game to be a good one.

“I am looking for a dog fight in the game,” said Brown.

At 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, Brown is one of the most unique prospects in the country with his potential to be an offensive lineman or defensive lineman at the next level. On the offensive side of the football, he is an agile lineman with impressive athleticism. He displays an ability to get off blocks and make big plays on defense.
