Tommy Rees deserves this grade at the bye week for Alabama

Alabama football is off this week.

The Crimson Tide is getting players rested and healthy for next week’s SEC West showdown against LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama’s coaching staff has grown with this team throughout the season as the Tide is 7-1. The staff at Touchdown Alabama Magazine introduce a series of grading the coaching staff after the first half of the season.

Tommy Rees, Alabama’s offensive coordinator, is first.

Tommy Rees was hired in the spring to be Alabama’s offensive coordinator to replace Bill O’Brien. The 30-year-old was a quarterback at Notre Dame, but he became a quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator for the program.
