The New England Patriots season has gone in the tank as it sits at a record of 2-6, the franchise is in the unfamiliar position of potentially being sellers at the trade deadline.
The lack of success this season has led to some speculation that quarterback Mac Jones could be on the move. Jones and the offense have underperformed this season, and with a decision on his fifth-year option looming this offseason, the Patriots could make a hard reset before the year is over.
But that scenario doesn’t seem to be the case, for it was reported by The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, that the Patriots have not received any calls on Jones as the deadline approaches
Despite some speculation, the Patriots have not received any trade calls for QB Mac Jones, per sources.

Jones has struggled with turnovers for the second straight season in New England as he has thrown eight interceptions in as many games, along with one lost fumble.
The team’s issues surely loom larger than just the quarterback position, but improvement will need to be seen regardless should Jones hope to remain the starter moving forward.
